Fridays are for finishing...

So here's one I made earlier...

It's for Miss M and I have made it in the 36 month size as she's in between sizes and I think it will fit for next winter too.

Technical specs as follows:

Pattern: Frilled Edge Crossover Coat from Debbie Bliss Baby Style
Yarn: Substitute yarn, Utiki Possum Merino DK (8-ply) Amethyst
Started: Long enough ago that I am pleased to finally have it off the WIP list.
Things I learnt along the way: How to pick up stitches correctly for the ribbed frilled edge, mattress stitch and neat back stitch for seaming.

It's an incredibly warm coat and the knitting is very closed, it will really suit the winter weather here in Western Victoria. Just finished in time as the chilly weather seems to have sprung upon us these last few days.

And here's another FO.

A throw that my Mum made for Miss M over the past 12 months. It's all crochet from Bendigo Woolen Mill Classic 8-ply. It's lovely and warm and as you can see everyone gets a turn !
